Embitterment, resentfulness and gall. Those are the key-words for the negative state of the Willow. Those people are constantly complaining, moaning and resentful against their undeserved heavy odds. They are constantly and always the most deprived, the most hurt and offended, and the most unjustly injured. Their behaviour drives others from annoyance to complete intolerance, hence they are generally shunned and avoided as they are grumbling and grouching, full of malice, gall and envy. On top of that they have a huge self-esteem and consider everyone, including fate and life itself, is in their debt. Hence, even when they receive help they do not consider it necessary to show gratitude. They see themselves as fully entitled to help and support. No matter how miserable this character might appear to us, we need to admit that we also can temporarily fall into a state of constant discontent. Then we need to reach for the bottle with Willow, which will help us to get our sense of humour back and laugh at ourselves, especially over the feeling of own importance. With some humility, we should realise that we hold serious responsibility for what we attract into our lives.
Those who without apparently sufficient reason become resigned to all that happens, and just glide through life, take it as it is, without any effort to improve things and find some joy. They have surrendered to the struggle of life without complaint.
