Wild oat in its negative aspect is the blossom for people experiencing deep dissatisfaction due to the fact they have not discovered their true vocation in life. They have numerous talents and skills but lack persistence. They do not know what to start, where to turn to. They engage in lots of activities at once and rarely bring any of those to its end. We can say, ‘They do a little of everything and a lot of NOTHING!’ How true and how sad and frustrating!
